Silversmith Workshops
Matilda, the owner of Cove Collections is also a qualified Teacher, specialising in Art and Photography. Combining her two loves, making jewellery and teaching, we are excited to offer Silversmithing Workshops in South Devon! These can be held in the comfort of your own home or in a separate location (please allow 4 weeks to arrange a private room hire). Available from October 2024!
Silver Pebble Necklace Workshop
Learn the basics of silersmithing and create your own personalised 100% Recycled 925 Sterling Silver Pebble Necklace. Personalise with a variety of stamps, including Star Signs, Birth Flowers, Letters and Numbers. ​The option to add a sea glass charm to your necklace is also available. The sea glass will be provided.
This workshop can have between 2 and 6 people. It Is your responsibility to fill the spaces. Please inform Matilda if you are wishing to include Sea Glass in your design, so that she can bring the appropriate tools and materials.

Silver Ring Workshop
Learn the basics of silversmithing and create your own 100% Recycled 925 Sterling Silver Ring. You get to pick from a selection of ring designs: Wave Ring / Peak Ring / Hammered Band / Personalised Ring. This workshop can have between 2 and 6 people. It Is your responsibility to fill the spaces. Please select and inform Matilda of the ring designs you would all like to make, allowing her to bring the correct materials.
Price Per Person: £50+ (This is the starting price. Price depends on the ring design, and the amount of silver required). !

Sea Glass Setting Workshop
This workshop is for people who have already attended a "Learn the Basics" Workshop, as you will be using more advanced silversmithing techniques, and will require previously learnt Silversmithing skills.

Turn your own piece of sea glass into a unique, 100% Recycled Sterling Silver piece of jewellery. You could make a Necklace or a Ring,. Bangles are also available at an additional cost. ​This workshop can have between 2 and 4 people. It Is your responsibility to fill the spaces. Please select and inform Matilda of the designs you would all like to make, allowing her to bring the correct materials.

If you are interested in learning or creating something specific, we can offer you a 1 to 1 or small group workshop. For example, this could be to make matching rings with someone or making jewellery for a special event.

These workshops will take place in the Cove Collections studio. They can be arranged to suit your schedule, and can be divided into multiple different sessions if required.
